L\u00fcftner Cruises staat veiligheid hoog op de agenda. Niet alleen als het gaat om het schip zelf, maar vooral om de bescherming van bemanning en passagiers. Om die veiligheid verder te ondersteunen, investeert de rederij voortdurend in slimme technologie aan boord. Een recent voorbeeld daarvan is de installatie van Bridgescout\u00ae op de Amadeus Cara \u2013 een van de nieuwste en modernste schepen binnen de vloot.<\/strong><\/p>

Kapitein Patrick Balassa, al 24 jaar werkzaam bij L\u00fcftner Cruises, ziet Bridgescout\u00ae als een waardevolle aanvulling op zijn dagelijkse werk. \u201cSoms heb je maar 20 tot 40 centimeter speling onder een brug. Dan telt elke centimeter. Bridgescout\u00ae geeft een visueel en akoestisch signaal, zodat we op het juiste moment en met precisie de hoogte van de stuurhut kunnen aanpassen.\u201d<\/p>

Voordat het systeem werd ge\u00efnstalleerd, had hij al positieve ervaringen gehoord van collega\u2019s. \u201cDe installatie verliep vlot. Alles was binnen een paar weken geregeld, en de monteur was professioneel, vriendelijk en goed voorbereid,\u201d vertelt hij.<\/p>

Voor kapitein Balassa is het helder: technologie\u00ebn zoals Bridgescout\u00ae dragen concreet bij aan een veilige vaart.\u201cAlles wat helpt om de veiligheid te verbeteren, is welkom. De stuurhut is een kostbaar onderdeel van het schip, maar belangrijker nog: het gaat om de mensen aan boord. Bridgescout\u00ae geeft vertrouwen bij kritieke momenten en maakt ons werk veiliger en voorspelbaarder.\u201d<\/p>

Hij noemt ook een aandachtspunt: \u201cTijdens dichte mist merkten we dat het systeem iets minder goed functioneerde. Over de Amadeus Cara<\/strong><\/h3>

De Amadeus Cara is in 2022 in de vaart genomen en behoort tot de nieuwste generatie rivierschepen van L\u00fcftner Cruises. Met een lengte van 135 meter is het schip speciaal ontworpen voor de Europese binnenwateren. Aan boord komen comfort, technologie en veiligheid samen voor een soepele en aangename vaarervaring.<\/p>
